	Celebrity ! In tribute to the stars of yesterday and today, Celebrity brings to the stage some of America's favorite superstars. 	"Let Him Sleep 'Til It's Time For His Funeral" an off-off Broadway production by Peg Kehret This play tells the story of a fellow's upcoming 50th birthday, an event he is not looking forward to. In an effort to try to lift him out of the grave of his depressing thoughts of impending senior citizenship, his wife decides to throw him a funeral, invite all his friends, and show him how much he means to everyone. 	Calling all Sleuths! Duplin Winery presents 2 killer performances in 2008!  It's a Mystery will present 2 murder mysteries in an interactive dining experience.  The show will be be performed as you dine by a professional troupe of actors.  Bringing to life exciting characters with questionable motives, it will be up to you to solve the mystery!  It would be a crime to miss this event!  Lights, Camera, Murder on February 23 and Country-Fried Caper on November 1st.  $50.00 per person Dinner begins at 6:00.  Add the Tour package for an additional $2.00 and join us at 3:30 for a production tour and wine tasting.
	A Living History An event that will be engaging and enthralling as two historical figures are brought to life on the stage at Duplin Winery.  Tour 3:30, Reception 4:30pm and the Dinner Show begins at 6:00pm The John Locke Foundation and Duplin Winery invite you to join us on March 7 or on March 8 at historic Duplin Winery for an afternoon and evening of wine, food, and conversation as two of America’s greatest generals—Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant—discuss the causes, hardships, and events of the Civil War and the possibility of national reconciliation.  On stage at Duplin on October 10th or 11th, General Geo. 	GRAPE STOMP SPECTACULAR You are in for a treat this year!  Duplin Winery is celebrating our 34th Anniversary.  Of course we will stomp grapes, but we will also toss them, roll them, and play some good old fashioned games... We will dance to the music of Captain Cook and the Coconutz, enjoy a beach music buffet for dinner and cheer on the finalist in the Grape Stomp competition. We will tour our new site, vineyards and production facilities.  Join us, beginning at 2:00pm through 10:00pm for Just $41.00 per person!  September 20, 2008

                             Wine Label Art Contest Un-Veiling and Auction

Art Show and Auction!  On April 26th, Duplin Winery will unveil the Grand Prize Winner of our Label Contest and uncork our new Festival Wine in honor of the 1st annual Toast of the Coast Wine Festival.  Duplin Winery will be auctioning the winning art pieces and hosting a reception and dinner in honor of this occassion. $40.00 per person.  Reception at 5:00 followed by dinner.  Grenaldo Frazier will provide the entertainment for the evening. All proceeds to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.
