Construction at the Retail - update
Have you ever wondered to yourself, "What in the world have I gotten myself into?" This is how I am starting to feel about all the construction going on at the retail store. If you have been to the winery, you will understand the bottle neck jam that was created at our cash registers. I wanted to fix that situation. It seems the more I do to improve the flow and the look of the retail room/patio/etc, the more jobs I create. How quickly one project leads to another! I have to admit that I am growing tired of it all and I am ready for it to end. It doesn't hurt that the wallet is getting lighter, too. This was supposed to be a simple project that would improve the retail room flow for the next five years. I am just a little over budget in my projections, but I still have more to do. The problem is that I am running out of time. I have to be done by April 1st. We are starting music on our courtyard series that Saturday. We are hoping to run this free concert series every Saturday from the first of April to the end of September. The purpose of the music on our courtyard is to give you a little more to do when you are visiting the winery. I hope each of you will like the changes we have made. The fish pond is going to be huge. I hope Carly, the winery cat, doesn't eat all the fish!! If she does... well, I will let you guess on that one. I look forward to seeing you soon.
