James Sprunt Community College is offering an exciting hands-on experience, in the art of winemaking. Participants will engage in the art of winemaking with a discussion of the processes involved in the making of wine. A step-by-step presentation will be offered to the students by the instructor including a detailed PowerPoint demonstration and student hands-on training. By the end of the session, the participants will understand the basic theory of winemaking.

The participants will learn step by step how to: Fermentation process, Transfer (rack) wine, A bottle wine with corking, Labeling of bottles.

Each participant will be given a bottle of wine to carry home as a keepsake for taking the course.
