Air fry lamb chops to serve with Scuppernong Herb Jelly

Spring means lamb chops, which are incredible cooked in an air fryer -- although you could bake them or sear the chops on the stove -- and served with herbed Scuppernong wine jelly.

Lamb chops are a breeze to cook. How long do you cook lamb chops in the oven or on the stove? It depends on how you like them. Loin chops about an inch thick cook to medium-rare in about 15 minutes in an air fryer. They're done in less than 10 minutes seared in a heavy skillet on the stove (or seared on the stove and then finished in the oven). Thinner rib chops take even less time.

Choose grass-fed lamb chops to avoid lamb's reputation for gamey flavor. The lamb's fat ensures the chops brown nicely. That fat adds a lot of richness, which is why mint jelly is a classic pairing with lamb. The mint's freshness balances the luscious meat.

For Scuppernong Herb Lamb Chops, we blended fresh mint with the distinctive muscadine sweetness of Duplin Gourmet Scuppernong Wine Jelly or Scupperong Grape Jelly. Either jelly adds that something special to Easter lamb dinners. The sweetness brings together the lamb's delectable browned edges and the mint's fresh spring lightness.

What to eat with lamb chops is a question many people ask. Try it with Muscadine Glazed Carrots or Zesty Muscadine Green Beans
