Duplin Dine & Wine celebrates two years of sharing recipes on video.

We thought a lot about doing a video series featuring food and wine recipes. Never once did we expect to be creating it practically overnight. But that's exactly what happened when the Covid-19 pandemic hit in early 2020. Almost in an instant, "Duplin Dine & Wine" was born.

Since then, host Frank has presented dozens of tasty recipes for everything from mondo Bourbon Barbecue Shrimp Sandwich to jalapeno-spiked Hatteras Red wine. But it all started with a cocktail called "The Quarantini."

Frank and his wife, Connie, filmed the first "Duplin Dine & Wine" on the front porch of their home. Frank's previous experience with food and drink videos was a reel spotlighting "The Himosa," a boozy riff on brunch-essential mimosa that Frank suggested to quarantined guys who needed a break from excess together time. Connie saw it and thought, "Now wait a minute, I need something from Frank-time overload."

And so the Quarantini cocktail was born. The orange-mango sipper with a fizzy kick of Duplin Sweet Rosé was a dose of pure happiness when we were all stuck inside. It's even better now that we can get out and share it with friends and family.
