Wine Sweetzer 101: Learn how to make the best wine slushies

Beat the summer heat with a wine slushie made from a perfect blend of Duplin wine, ice and your favorite Sweetzer mix. Enjoy a sweet and slightly tart Raspberry Mango Lemonade while sitting on the porch with friends. Who doesn't love chocolate covered strawberries? Make a custom blend of delectable flavors by combining Chocolatini and Berry Bliss with Hatteras Red wine.

After you pick your favorite flavored mix; simply fill a pitcher full of ice, pour one packet of the Sweetzer mix over top and add half a bottle of the recommended Duplin wine. Be careful, some Sweetzer recipes also call for a little soda for extra fizz, so make sure to double-check needed ingredients on the back of the Sweetzer package. Turn the blender on and wait for the ice to break down and make the ideal slushie consistency. The longer you blend, the more ice breaks down into smaller pieces.

If you have a Ninja or a Margarita maker, pull those out instead of a blender. We have found that they make the best at-home wine slushies.
