Cream Cheese Danish with Christmas Wine Jelly
When everyone is hungry on Christmas morning, or any morning, these danish packets come together quickly. Just pop open a can of crescent dough and fill the packets with cream cheese and your favorite Duplin Gourmet Jelly.
Ingredients:
- 2 8-count cans of crescent rolls
- 1 8-ounce package cold cream cheese
- 1 cup Duplin Gourmet Christmas Wine Jelly
- Cinnamon sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Remove crescent rolls from cans.
- Lay 8 crescent roll triangles on a large, floured work surface.
- Cut cream cheese into 8 slices.
- Lay one slice of cream cheese in the center of each crescent roll.
- Top cream cheese with 2-3 tablespoons Duplin Christmas Wine Jelly.
- Lay remaining crescent roll triangles evenly over filling, making sure top triangle aligns with bottom triangle.
- Use the tines of a fork to press and seal packets.
- Transfer packets to a large baking sheet.
- Sprinkle packets with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake packets at 350 degrees until browned, about 10 minutes.
- Makes 8 servings.
