Cream Cheese Danish with Christmas Wine Jelly

When everyone is hungry on Christmas morning, or any morning, these danish packets come together quickly. Just pop open a can of crescent dough and fill the packets with cream cheese and your favorite Duplin Gourmet Jelly.  

Ingredients:

  • 2 8-count cans of crescent rolls
  • 1 8-ounce package cold cream cheese
  • 1 cup Duplin Gourmet Christmas Wine Jelly
  • Cinnamon sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Remove crescent rolls from cans.
  3. Lay 8 crescent roll triangles on a large, floured work surface.
  4. Cut cream cheese into 8 slices.
  5. Lay one slice of cream cheese in the center of each crescent roll.
  6. Top cream cheese with 2-3 tablespoons Duplin Christmas Wine Jelly.
  7. Lay remaining crescent roll triangles evenly over filling, making sure top triangle aligns with bottom triangle.
  8. Use the tines of a fork to press and seal packets.
  9. Transfer packets to a large baking sheet.
  10. Sprinkle packets with cinnamon sugar.
  11. Bake packets at 350 degrees until browned, about 10 minutes.
  12. Makes 8 servings.
