Duplin Winery Announces 41st Annual Grape Stomp
Duplin Winery, the largest winery in the South, announces their 41st Annual Grape Stomp, taking place on September 9th, 2017. The event will be held at the vineyards in Rose Hill, NC and runs from 1pm – 6pm. Guests can expect live music from Spare Change, dancing, exclusive wine tastings and a grape stomping contest. Festival attendees will have a chance to stomp grapes with their bare feet and prizes will be awarded to the best grape stompers.
Special vineyard tours will take place, as well as production facility tours, allowing guests to see the winemaking process. Wine tastings are available from 1pm – 5pm and require a reservation as space fills up quickly. Visitors can enjoy a meal at the Bistro Restaurant, which will be open on a first come, first serve basis. A food tent will be available on site as well. There are limited tickets available for purchase in advance for $20/per person; at the gate tickets will be $30/per person and exclusive wine tastings can be purchased for an additional $10/per person.
