Duplin Winery Earns 2017 Impact Hot Brand Award
Duplin Winery has been awarded the Impact Hot Brand Award for the 2017 year. This award is highly sought-after in the wine and spirits industries worldwide and is given based on a percentage of sales growth year-to-year, with a minimum of 10%growth each year. Duplin Winery was presented with this award at the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers Association’s 75th Annual Convention & Exposition on Tuesday, May 1st at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Nevada.
Duplin Winery is the oldest and largest operating winery in the South. Today, the winery has a tank capacity of over 1.8 million gallons and sells over 550,000 cases annually. All Duplin wines are cold fermented to preserve the natural sweetness that only Muscadine grapes can produce. Over 200,000 visitors are greeted with sweet, southern hospitality when they visit either location in Rose Hill, North Carolina or North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
“I can still remember me as a little boy, sitting at our small kitchen table, licking our family crest labels and hand labeling our wine bottles,” Dave Fussell, Jr. President of Duplin Winery says. “I am humbled when I look back at those hard and difficult times. I want to thank the wonderful folks who drink and support our wines. We sincerely appreciate the opportunity you have given us. Without your support and the hard work of our Duplin Wine Family, being “The Winery of the South” isn’t possible. Thank you!”
