Duplin Winery makes donation to American Heart Association
On Monday, December 18th, Duplin Winery hosted a private event to present the American Heart Association with a donation check of $5,000. The event was held at Duplin Winery in North Myrtle Beach included live entertainment from the Rick & Lesa Duo, brunch style hors d’oeuvres donated by Chick-fil-A and wine.
This generous donation was a result of proceeds from the Red Wine Sale that took place in October. Duplin Winery partnered with the American Heart Association to support the 2017 Waccamaw Heart Walk. The winery had a special case discount on red wine in conjunction with the walk where a portion of the proceeds was given back to the American Heart Association. The Waccamaw Heart Walk helps build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
“We are thrilled to be able to make this donation,” stated Jonathan Fussell, co-owner of Duplin Winery. “This donation wouldn’t have been made without the support of our community. It’s amazing to see everyone come together and support an organization that has helped so many. We are committed to improving the lives of our customers and employees in every way we can.”
