For 40 years, the friends and family at Duplin Winery have stomped grapes. Once to make wine and now just for fun! Duplin is celebrating our 40th Annual Grape Stomp festival on Saturday, September 10th. There will be live music from Chocolate Chip & Company Band and The Holiday Band, dancing, wine tastings and a grape stomping contest. Festival-goers get a chance to stomp grapes with their bare feet and the best ones will have an opportunity to participate in a stomp off for a Duplin prize!
Special vineyard and production facility tours and exclusive wine tastings will be given throughout the afternoon. The wine tastings have limited seating available, so advance reservations must be made by calling 800-774-9634 prior to the event.The Bistro Restaurant will be open on a first come first serve basis and food tents will be available on site for dinner purchases.
The entire family will have fun at this event! Don’t forget your chairs for your own comfort but most of all, don’t forget your dancing shoes so you can get your shag on!

Our 40th Annual Grape Stomp will be held from 1pm-9pm at the I-40 Vineyards, located at 918 W. Charity Road, Rose Hill, NC 28458.
All Grape Stomp parking will be at our vineyards right off of I-40 at 918 W. Charity Road, Rose Hill, NC 28458. Gates open at 12:30pm. A shuttle will operate between I-40 and our retail room and Bistro. Shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes.

Each year at Grape Stomp we allow our customers to take a special vineyard tour where we discuss the growing and harvesting of the Muscadine grape, the heart of all Duplin wines. Vineyard tours will be given on the hour, starting at 2pm and ending at 6pm. Sign up for the time of your choice at our registration table. Seating is limited. First come, first served. Guests must arrive 15 minutes early to attend tour.
Festival-goers get a chance to stomp grapes with their bare feet. Stomping stations will be set up and running from 2pm-6pm. Select guests who have shown a flair for stomping will be asked to compete in a “Stomp-Off” for special prizes at 7pm.
