Guided by the steady hand and encouragement of their father, Daniel "Big D" Fussell, brothers David Fussell Sr. and Dan Fussell, incorporated Duplin Winery on August 18, 1976. And this collection showcases that sweet wine history. Mothervine is crafted from grapes grown on cuttings from America’s oldest cultivated vine in Manteo, N.C. Founder’s Noble is a red re-created from David's original formula using highly revered Noble Muscadine grapes. One of Duplin’s first and most-popular wines, Carolina Red, is here, as well as elegant Midnight Magnolia (Jonathan’s favorite). Scuppernong Blush honors North Carolina’s native Scuppernong grapes. Our finest red, Queen Anne’s Revenge, completes the set for the ultimate toast to fans like you who made 50 years of Duplin Winery possible.
