BURGER INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Add the Duplin Smokehouse Grilling Sauce and the packet of Lipton Beefy Onion Soup mix. Gently fold seasonings into the ground beef until well blended, being careful not to overwork the meat.
2. Form the seasoned ground beef into 4 quarter-pound patties or 3 one-third-pound patties, being sure to make the patties slightly larger in circumference than the buns. Cover and place in the refrigerator until ready to cook.
3. Fire up a gas or charcoal grill to high heat. Grill burgers for 2 to 3 minutes and then turn them over and grill another 3 to 5 minutes, until burgers reach desired doneness.
4. Add a slice of cheese for the last minute of grilling.
5. Build burgers: Lay open buns on a large platter. Spread about a tablespoon each of mayonnaise and Duplin Sweet Bourbon Glaze on the top half of the bun (and on the bottom if you like extra sauce). Place a burger on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce and tomato. Lay the bun tops over the burgers.

Note: Before you prepare your own favorite recipe for tots or french fries, stir together this spicy sweet sauce. Use it as a dipping sauce for tots or fries. You could even put it on a burger.

1. Procedure: In a small bowl, blend together 1 tablespoon of sour cream and 1 tablespoon Duplin Pineapple Habanero Salsa. Use the mixture as a dipping sauce for tots or fries.
2. Two great wines to compliment this meal, Carolina Red Reserve or Sweet Rosé.
