Recipe: Duplin Espresso Martini

Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons high-quality instant coffee
  • 2 ounces Duplin American Port
  • 1/2 teaspoon caramel syrup
  • Chocolate sprinkles
Directions:
  1. Chill a 6-ounce martini glass or coup in the freezer.
  2. Blend 2 teaspoons instant coffee with 1/4 cup boiling-hot water. If desired, sweeten the coffee to taste with sugar (about 1 teaspoon or to taste).
  3. Bring coffee to room temperature.
  4. Pour coffee, Duplin American port and caramel syrup into a cocktail shaker. 
  5. Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups of crushed ice to the shaker.
  6. Cover shaker. Vigorously shake cocktail for 20 seconds.
  7. Strain cocktail into the chilled glass.
  8. Garnish with chocolate sprinkles
  9. Makes 1 serving.
