Duplin’s Magnolia Sauce for Chicken


• ½ cup Magnolia Wine
• ½ cup fresh lemon juice
• ½ cup finely chopped fresh basil
• ½ cup olive oil
• 1 tbsp coarse black pepper
• 2 cloves of garlic
• Garnish: 1/2 cup Hatteras Red Wine Jelly


1. Combine all ingredients, except for the basil and pepper, for 30 seconds in blender.
2. Place in bowl and add pepper and basil. Pour over 3 lbs. chicken breasts and marinate for 6 hours in refrigerator.
3. Remove chicken from marinade and grill, using excess marinade as baste.
4. For garnish, liquefy ½ cup of Hatteras Red Wine Jelly in the microwave. Drizzle jelly over chicken before serving.
