Spiked Peach Iced Tea

Hard iced teas are all the rage, but don't bother buying the stuff in a can. Spiked ice tea is so easy to make. This recipe is full of juicy peach flavor and double punch of peach wine and vanilla vodka or whiskey.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brewed, unsweetened black tea, brewed strong and at room temperature)
  • 2-4 tablespoons Peach Bellini Sweetzer mix
  • 2 cups Duplin Cotton Candy Peach wine, at room temperature
  • 3 cups sliced frozen or fresh peaches
  • ½ cup vanilla whiskey or vanilla vodka (optional)
  • 1 fresh lime, sliced into thin wheels
  • Extra fresh peach and lime slices for garnish

Directions:

  1. Pour iced tea into a large pitcher.
  2. Add Peach Bellini Sweetzer mix 1 tablespoon at a time to unsweetened tea until tea is sweet and peachy to your taste.
  3. Add Duplin Cotton Candy Peach wine to the ice tea. 
  4. Add peach slices to the tea mixture.
  5. Refrigerate the tea until well chilled.
  6. Remove tea from the refrigerator and stir in vanilla whiskey or vodka, if using.
  7. Add the sliced limes to the tea.
  8. Fill glasses with ice. Pour tea into the glass.
  9. Garnish with fresh peach and lime slices.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
