Summer Bucket List
It’s here! Summertime has finally arrived, and like every year, it’s going to pass by quickly. It’s time to make the most of a brand new season and write down what you hope to do this summer. Here is our idea of the ultimate summer bucket list to help motivate and inspire you.
Visit Duplin Winery
Well, we may be a little biased when it comes to the first one, but it surely will sweeten your day. Visit us at one of our two locations in Rose Hill, North Carolina or North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Duplin experience. Take a step back in time with family stories, secret recipes and the sweet taste of the South.
Escape to the beach
There isn’t anything quite as relaxing as an escape to the beach. Whether you plan a trip alone to do some soul searching, or invite family and friends, it doesn’t get much better than the feeling of sand between the toes. Our Life is Sweeter acrylic glasses are just what you need to complete your beach day.
Make a summer cocktail
You can’t go wrong with Sangria, and we’ve got a delicious recipe for you! Our Quick Sangria combines Duplin’s Sunset Red wine, rum, sugar, orange juice, peaches, orange slices, lemon slices and mango. Simply combine the ingredients and chill for two to three hours before serving. View the full recipe here.
Enjoy a cookout with friends and family
It’s the season for getting your grill on and spending time with friends and family. There are plenty of excuses to have a gathering with the number of holidays and occasions that take place in the summer. Duplin has you covered with a variety of Muscadine Barbecue sauces that are sure to satisfy your taste buds.
Complete a DIY project
One of the fun parts after you finish your Duplin wine is saving the corks and bottles for a DIY project. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or expert crafter; Pinterest has plenty of do-it-yourself options to browse. The majority of cork related projects can be completed within minutes leaving you with new decor for your home.
What‘s on your summer bucket list this year? We’d love to hear from you!
