Duplin is a half-century old! And seeing my father, uncle and grandfather's dream come true deeply inspires me. They didn’t surrender when things got rough. The trio changed course, became even more ambitious, and made it work. Their determination to revive North Carolina’s historic muscadine wines was truly a labor of love for tradition and family. Today, my family and I are blessed to be part of this fourth-generation winery founded in 1976, with you by our side along the way. Fifty years ago, it was pivot or perish. When wholesale prices collapsed, the Fussells’ vineyard – originally planted for the grape market – was suddenly a liability. The family stood at a devastating crossroads: teach themselves the art of winemaking or lose the ground beneath their feet. With their father Daniel "Big D" Fussell’s backing, brothers David Fussell Sr. and Dan Fussell transformed a bankrupt crop into a legacy in tiny Rose Hill. This celebration isn't just a look back; it is your invitation to taste a journey defined by grit and grace. Through five limited-edition reserve wines, we are sharing our story one bottle at a time, each released quarterly to honor a different chapter of Duplin’s heritage. 1976 Reserve begins the Duplin 50th Anniversary Wine Series.

Your account requires an active credit card on file. We bill on the first Sunday of February, May, August and November. Double-check your account information online and update credit cards at least 2 weeks before the Heritage package release date.

Watch for the launch of a brand-new Duplin Wine Club as well as a separate new Loyalty Program. That exciting new club means a cap on Heritage Club memberships took effect February 1, 2025.
