Behind every vintage of Duplin wine is a legacy of home-cooked meals. From the aunts and grandmothers who volunteered to prepare food for our first dinner theaters to the celebratory harvest ribs winery co-owner Dave Fussell Jr. grills for the team today, food has always been our way of saying "thank you." To celebrate Duplin Winery's 50th anniversary in 2026, we’ve gathered these cherished family favorites. Pull up a chair and join us in savoring life’s greatest blessings.
1976 Reserve begins the Duplin 50th Anniversary Wine Series. This premier white honors the year of our beginnings and the centuries-old lineage of the grapes that started it all for American winemaking.
Jonathan Murphy was the kind of friend everyone wants to have. That’s why we created a muscadine and Niagara blend in honor of this man who impacted so many lives at Duplin Winery and beyond. With a whisper of Southern peach, the limited-edition red is gracious and thoughtful, with that special something extra, just like Murphy. And part of the proceeds from the sale of Murphy will go to the cause he loved so dearly, supporting foster kids and the families who care for them.
As the Duplin catalog of wines expanded, we knew we wanted to dedicate an incomparable wine to Mama Carr. We named it Brice’s Creek, and I smile every time I sip a glass, thinking about those wonderful days with my grandmother. — Dave Fussell Jr.
