Duplin Winery Partners with Pelicans to Produce Pelican Red Wine

Duplin Winery and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are proud to announce a brand new wine, Pelican Red. The wine will be bottled for the first time at Duplin Winery in North Myrtle Beach on April 5, 2017 starting at 10:00 am by Pelicans players and staff.

Pelican Red is produced by Duplin Winery and is made to celebrate their partnership with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and their dedication to the community. This medium sweet red wine will please your palate with a light sweetness that finishes with a burst of fruit. There will also be a brand new Sweetzer released, Pelican Red Rush, expanding Duplin’s frozen drink line.

Jonathan Fussell, President of Duplin Winery, says, “The first year working with the Pelicans was a great success, and we are excited about the next step in our partnership. We hope that everyone will be able to enjoy a glass at the Pelicans stadium and take a bottle home. The sweet blend hits it out of the park with every sip.”

Pelican Red and the Pelican Red Rush will be available for purchase in both Duplin Winery locations, online and by phone, starting in May. Fans at the Pelicans stadium will have the opportunity to purchase both at the pro shop. In addition, they can enjoy a glass, along with other Duplin favorites, while watching the game.
