Icy Orange Blossom
Step back to the 1980s magic of hanging out in the mall, playing Pac-Man until your quarters ran out and tuning your Walkman to Casey Kasem's "American Top 40" while you sip an Orange Julius and act like you don't see your crush walking up to say "Hi." That Orange Julius inspires the Icy Orange Blossom. Only, of course, we made it better with Duplin Orange Blossom wine.
Ingredients:
- 6 to 8 cups ice cubes or crushed ice
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup Duplin Orange Blossom
- 1 12-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
Directions:
- Fill a blender container about three-fourths full of ice.
- Add half-and-half, sugar, vanilla extract, Duplin Orange Blossom and frozen orange juice concentrate over ice in the blender.
- Place the lid on the blender and whizz mixture at high speed until slushy.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
