Chocolate Dipped Peppermint

The frosty chill of Cotton Candy Peppermint rosé meets decadent chocolate under a snow cap of peppermint whipped cream. This is the part wine slushie, part winter wonderland boozy milkshake treat that you'll be craving from the holiday season right through Valentine's Day. 

Ingredients:

  • 1¾ cups Duplin Peppermint Cotton Candy rosé wine, well chilled
  • 1 packet Duplin Chocolatini Sweetzer mix
  • 4 to 6 cups of ice
  • 1 tablespoon finely crushed candy canes
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • Garnish: chocolate sprinkles, edible red and white glitter

Directions:

  1. Place 4 large martini or wine glases into the freezer to chill.
  2. Pour Duplin Peppermint Cotton Candy and Duplin Chocolatini Sweetzer mix into the blender. Put the lid on the blender and mix at low speed until ingredients are combined. Add ice to fill blender. Blend at high speed until mixture is slushy, adding more ice if mixture seems too thin.
  3. Fold the 1 tablespoon of finely crushed candy canes into the whipped cream.
  4. Remove glasses from the freezer. Fill each glass with chocolate mixture. Spoon whipped cream into each glass so that the whipped cream peaks over the top of the glasses. Garnish with chocolate sprinkles and edible glitter.
  5. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
