Magnolia Magic Cake
The Magnolia shines through to give this light cake a robust, sweet flavor. Perfect for summer days and strawberries.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup pecans
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 small box vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup Duplin Magnolia Wine
- ½ cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Mix the pecans, yellow cake mix, pudding mix, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 1/2 cup Magnolia wine and pour into a bundt cake pan.
- Bake for 55 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, combine margarine, sugar, 1/4 cup water. Heat until melted. Remove from heat. After glaze has cooled slightly, add 1/2 cup Magnolia Wine and spoon over the cake (still in a bundt pan).
- Cool cake and turn out of the pan.
