Cotton Candy Jell-O Shots
The person with the Jell-O shots is everyone's best friend at the party. You'll be the center of attention for sure when you show up with all four flavors of these Cotton Candy Jell-O shots, so you better make extra. We punched up Duplin Cotton Candy Lime, Blueberry, Peach and Original wines with matching flavored vodkas for a rainbow collection of tasty Jell-O shots. Pack them in coolers for Super Bowl parties; ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC and NCAA basketball tournaments; cookouts; beach days or anytime the gang gets together.
Ingredients:
- BLUEBERRY JELL-O SHOTS
- One 3-ounce package berry blue Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ¼ cup blueberry or vanilla vodka
- FOR LIME JELL-O SHOTS
- One 3-ounce package lime Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ¼ cup Duplin Cotton Candy Lime wine
- ¼ cup citrus-, lime- or vanilla-flavored vodka
- FOR PEACH JELL-O SHOTS
- One 3-ounce package peach or mango Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ¼ cup Duplin Cotton Candy Peach wine
- ¼ cup plain vodka or vanilla- or peach-flavored vodka
- FOR ORIGINAL COTTON CANDY JELL-O SHOTS
- One 3-ounce package strawberry Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ cup Duplin Original Cotton Candy wine
- ¼ cup plain or vanilla-flavored vodka
- FOR ALL FLAVORS
- Twelve 2-ounce plastic portion cups
Directions:
- Set out 12 plastic portion cups.
- Pour Jell-O flavor mix of your choice into a medium bowl.
- Stir in boiling water and continue stirring until Jell-O is dissolved.
- Stir cold water into Jell-O mixture.
- Stir in Duplin Cotton Candy flavor and vodka flavor of your choice. If making Original Cotton Candy flavor, add vanilla extract at this point.
- Evenly divide mixture between the 12 plastic cups.
- Refrigerate until firm. Serve cold.
- Makes 12 servings.
