Pumpkin Spice Spritz
Sit back and peep some fall leaves with this gorgeous spritz that layers the colors and flavors of the season. Pum'kin wine, apple whiskey, a touch of caramel and a splash of hard cider harmonize in a fizzy, refreshing drink garnished with apples, pears and a cinnamon stick.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce apple-flavored whiskey
- 1/2 teaspoon caramel syrup
- 1/2 cup Duplin Pum'kin red wine
- Hard sparkling cider
- Thin slices of fresh apple and pear
- 1 cinnamon stick
Directions:
- Pour whiskey and caramel syrup into a wine glass.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Add enough wine to fill the glass halfway.
- Add enough hard sparkling cider to fill the giass.
- Garnish with an apple slice, a pear slice and a cinnamon stick.
- Makes 1 serving.
