Frozen Irish Coffee Mocha for St. Patrick's Day

When St. Patrick's Day partying hits that critical point when you need a pick-me-up, this frosty mocha Irish coffee recipe comes to the rescue.

Instead of the usual hot Irish coffee, were were inspired by the frozen Irish coffee drinks of New Orleans. Our chocolately verision gets a double coffee punch from shots of strong coffee and coffee-flavored whiskey. Duplin's most popular sweet muscadine wine, Hatteras Red, picks up the coffee's berry nuances to give the cocktail unique fruity notes.

Our Frozen Irish Coffee made in a blender comes together in minutes thanks to a few shortcuts. Instead of brewing coffee, we made an extra-strong mini cup of instant coffee. And you don't need a mixer for the sweet cream that floats on top of the finished drink. Just shake up heavy whipping cream and sugar in a canning jar.
