The best rose wines are the sweet snow cone kinds

Frosé? Yes, we're into that, but the best frosé recipes got us thinking about snow days and wine snow cones and all the happiness frosty glasses of blush wines bring. So we took all those ideas and come up with an icy treat we like to call "Snow Day Rosé."

It doesn't snow often at Duplin headquarters down South, so we brought the snow to us with this cocktail that delights year-round. We blend a base of any Duplin blush wine with fresh lemon juice and tequila and then pour the mix over shaved or crushed ice mounded in a tall glass. 

This is the festive drink we reach for on true, lazy snow days, warm spring brunch gatherings, summer holidays and fall tailgate days.
